Ember stores everything you enter, your check-ins, notes, signature, and settings, on your device. We do not run accounts, we do not collect your health data, and we cannot see it.

The companion

On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, companion conversations run entirely on your phone and never leave it. On other iPhones, your message and the context needed to answer it are sent to our secure server, answered, and immediately forgotten. Nothing is stored, logged, or used for anything else.

Location

If you allow approximate location, it is used on your device to calculate sunrise and sunset for the app's appearance. It is never transmitted.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple. Our payment partner RevenueCat receives purchase records and an anonymous device identifier so your subscription works and can be restored. This is never linked to your identity and never sold.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your device.

Your control

Delete the app and your data goes with it. You can also remove your data in the app's settings.
